Children are engaged in some kind of paid work. Some people regard this as completely wrong, while others consider it as valuable work experience, important for learning and taking responsibility. What are your opinions on this?


Undoubtedly, in the contemporary era, the majority of children are involved in a different kinds of work. Although few masses ponder that it is utterly wrong; however, demographics consider that it has numerous benefits for students. Working at a young age can enhance a person’s character.

To commence with, why are students not involved in paid work as learners can not pay attention to their academics? To elaborate, in this competitive era, study is mandatory for each and every one. If they do work at alternative places to earn money from work or a job, then the mind of students are diverted from education. Along with this, they can not attain good outcomes in exams as compared to regular students. For example, a UK charity found that children who worked part-time work were less likely to get higher grades than those who did not. Hence, they will face negative effects on the progress of the study.

Further strengthening the view of advantages of work as they work at a young age, they become more responsible, independent and developed their skills. To explicate, if children work at different places due to this, they can learn the experience of work as well as an improved practical skill also teamwork. To cite an example, a teenager working in a restaurant for a few hours at the weekends works hard to earn money, filling their basic necessities fully without difficulty.

To conclude, although students can not achieve their desired results in the education sector yet, they learn numerous skills from others during working, which has an uncountable fruitful effect on achieving their educational goals.
