Sample Answer of Describe a Habit Your Friend Has and You Want to Develop
Well, I have a number of friends who are honest, intelligent and have a good sense of humour. But here, I would like to talk about one of my friends who is quite passionate about working out and looking after his health. I wish to adopt his healthy lifestyle habits. His name’s Karan, and he is a health-conscious person. He gets up early in the morning for his work and spends at least two hours every evening without skipping a single day. He’s got athletic physic, and that is because of his well-maintained and strict diet plan. I vividly remember last week, when we met for an office party. There were a whole lot of mouth-watering dishes, but he didn’t taste a single bite, except for the fruit salad. When I offered him one of the dishes, he simply said, my body is my temple, and I don’t want to destroy my body by eating unhealthy food. His reply made me think about the importance of a healthy body and made me curious about being fit. From that day, I started taking a healthy diet. But it’s really hard for me to give up the yummy street food completely. I hope I will soon attain the desired goal.
Follow-ups of Describe a Habit Your Friend Has and You Want to Develop
Question 1:- What habits should children have?
Answer- I suppose putting children to bed early is of great benefit towards their healthy lifestyle. They should also brush their teeth after waking up and before going to bed to keep their teeth clean and strong. Moreover, the kids should learn to obey and respect elderly people. I believe these are some of the basic habits children should develop.
Question 2:- What should parents do to teach their children good habits?
Answer- I think that parents should first demonstrate good habits themselves. Children learn from observations, and if they see their parents doing things like regular flossing or eating breakfast every day, then they’ll be motivated to do those same activities. Parents should also explain the importance of developing good habits to their kids. If children understand the importance and the benefits of those habits, they’ll be inclined to develop them as well.
Question 3:- What influences do children with bad habits have on other children?
Answer- It is a well-known fact that we become the average of five people we meet. So children with bad habits have a negative effect on those people who remain close to them. Those children who do not have strong willpower easily fall prey to the bad habits of others.
Question 4:- Why do some habits change when people get older?
Answer- Our habits are the byproducts of our belief system. With growing age, our belief system changes, and this massive change brings a 360-degree shift in our likings and disliking. This whole process leads to a drastic change in our habits. Sometimes we replace our bad habits with good ones, and in some cases, it is vice versa.
