Nowadays, Distance Learning Programs Have Gained Popularity, but Some People Argue that Online Courses Can Never Be as Good as Those Taken at A College or University in Person. To What Extent Do You Agree or Disagree?

Recently, the way of studying has been changing to depend on technology, while other members of the public are against online courses because of the advantages of real classes at University or college for individuals. Teachers can provide help to students well. In other words, online education allows for flexible lessons. In this essay, I am going to discuss both views and draw my own conclusion.

First of all, online courses allow for flexible lessons, which is effective for working people. They can study at any time and hence do not worry about losing one of their priorities (job or education). It also helps them to work full-time and, thus, earn a lot of money. And online schooling might save time and stop feeling under pressure. For example, if someone finishes work at 5p.m and has a lesson going to start at 5:5p.m which is only five minutes, he/she might just join the class while walking home. Furthermore, students can learn at their own pace because there are no rules for choosing a place.

On the other hand, students can have face-to-face interaction with their peers and teachers. The professor can support students and instruct them. By learning at University, members of society make friends, which positively encourages them to be good students and help each other, different from online classes, feeling alone.

In conclusion, due to the spread of education online, many argue that students need to go to a college or University to have the best learning opportunities. In my opinion, I agree with studying online folk to have a balance between working and studying.
