Recent IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answers: Accommodation

Question 1:- Do you live in a house or an apartment/flat?

Answer – Well, I live in double Storey brick House with a Garden. However, I have been having lived there for the past 5 to 6 years with my family.

Question 2:- Can you describe the place where you live?

Answer – My house is covered with nature and greenery, and numerous trees and plants cover my house and also look like a heritage.

Question 3:- What do you like about living there? What do you like about your flat?

Answer – Well, I am fond of nature, and I also planted various kinds of species of trees in my house, and I love to live in my house due to an abundance of reasons.

Question 4:- Which is your favourite room in your home? Why?

Answer – My favourite room in my home is my living room because it is decorated to my personal taste and the walls of this room is a quite compatible with my eyes because it is blue in colour. There is imported furniture also installed in this room, and all my family members have a cup of coffee every evening in the living hall.

Question 5:- Which room does your family spend the most time in?

Answer – My family members are keen to like spend their quality time in the living room because that is the main part of my house and all the basic amenities are already installed in this house every evening, we also have a cup of coffee and a conversation on crucial topic as well sometimes we also crack jokes with each other, so this is room is a quite compatible with all the family members.

Question 6:- What can you see from the windows?

Answer – Seeing a view from my window is my favourite part of every morning; I often see the Sunrise and the evening sunset, so I feel overwhelmed and more comfortable when I see this view from the window of my room. 

Question 7:- Would you change anything about your home? Why/why not?

Answer – Yes, I would like to change everything in my house because I want to construct a new modern style home along with all the basic amenities as well apart from that I also installed Italian marble in my personal room which also makes a beauty like a moon and stars. However, the kitchen is quite small, so I would like to expand it in the future.

Question 8:- Would you like to move to a different home in the future?

Answer – Yes, I would like to move to another house in the future, because I have some plans for my career so eventually I need to find a well-settled job for them so I will definitely get a suitable job and I will shift there.

Question 9:- What sort of accommodation would you most like to live in?

Answer – I always prefer to live in flats rather than full houses because in flats we also find all the amenities which provide why the company and we also feel more comfortable with the parking system of these flats, which is my favourite part.
