Some people believe that increasing business and cultural contacts between different countries have positive development, while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
It is argued by a few masses that enhancing business and cultural contacts among varied nations have enormous benefits, while others disagree with it. In my perspective, it is a positive development as it will boost the country’s economy and cosmopolitan ambience will develop.
First off, if businesses are expanded beyond one’s own nation; then, more employment opportunities will emerge. Resultantly, the economy of a country will boost. Thus any nation will progress by leaps and bounds. So, expansion of commerce and trade can ensure the progress of countries. For instance, developing countries are now making associations with the entrepreneurs of overseas countries and thus bringing profits to each other by meeting the demands. If one country has material and is pushing itself backwards, then rich nations provide financial assistance. Therefore both nations make advances further. Besides, when people migrate to other nations; then, they go deeper into other’s cultures and make them able to adopt them. In this way, an international ambience will develop. Masses exchange their food, rituals and this diversification is conducive for the wellbeing of people. In my opinion, it stands for the exact motions of Rabindranath Tagore, who has written Gitanzali and poems from it where the mind is without fear and the head is held high, demonstrate an ideal society. So, it would be beneficial if culture is exchanged.
On the other hand, those who disagree with the above-mentioned statement believe that it will be a cause of the national identity roster. To clarify it, a country is known for its rich tradition. But, when people migrate to other nations for employment or study; then, they forget to keep reviving their ancient civilizations. They engross themselves in westernization. So, if culture is lost, national identity is lost. Although people get a chance to meet new people or new work culture, however, they easily forget their own culture. So, the masses earn money, adopt their lifestyle but at the cost of losing their identity. For instance, now people like to eat western food that is available in every nook and corner of the world. Thus they are forgetting the traditional ways of cooking food and the speciality of food of their own country.
To conclude, in consideration of above-mentioned benefits of expanding business and exchanging culture cannot make the other people see its darker side that is the danger of losing national identity and food by which a country is well known for.
