Some people believe that to give opportunities to the new generation companies should encourage high-level employees who are older than 55 to retire. Do you agree or disagree?
There are few people who prefer to see senior professionals of higher level who are about to retire in new firms. According to them, they should be given a chance to handle the current generation companies. However, I do not agree with this point. I would like to explain the same with a few reasons in the paragraph below.
First of all, we cannot avoid our new generation who have been continuously proving their talents. There are many young professionals who are managing a number of world-famous companies like Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Padma Shree warrior. These are only a few, for example, as we cannot name all here. There are a lot of young entrepreneurs who have proven themselves and made a whole new establishment from scratch. Recently I was reading an article about a 17-year-old boy who made a million-dollar recycling company in a very short period of time alone. There are different reasons which have sharpened their talents like new methods of methods, development of technology, new concepts etc. giving them wings to make their future better and prove the skills in front of the globe.
I agree senior professionals have got more experience as they have already run a company, but they might experience problems in managing the new-age business because they are based on the latest technology and thinking. They have already made their career. At this age, one should enjoy family life. That’s the reason why the government has set the retirement age.
To conclude, I strongly believe young talent should be given a chance instead of senior professionals.
