Talk About an Experience You Had as a Member of a Team

In the contemporary world, people had enormous chances to be part of several groups or teams in educational institutions or workplaces. These changes help them learn and understand several things, which will help them achieve their team goals. Today I would like to talk about a situation that happened years before. As the last semester postgraduate student, we have a lot of work to complete before submitting our final project. Students were engaged with different kinds of works as per scheduled programs and their electives. Like others, four of my group members, Anish, Happy, Sumi, and Deepti, are also busy with our project work. Before the final stages of project completion, my group members, including me, planned and implemented certain strategies for the best result. Our project destination was at United Breweries Palakkad.

As everyone knows, it is part of the Kingfisher group, and a highly organized work atmosphere was available in the organization. Four of us had been allocated various job routines, and we easily completed our daily targets. As part of my team, I was engaged with interviews and finalization. On the alternative days, I interview each and every departmental employee and sample the data as per the questionnaire. It was a Himalayan task because, within a time frame, it is pretty difficult to interview end to end employees inside the organization. However, all the employees were very cooperative, and they helped me a lot. On the alternative days, whenever I got leisure time, I tried to help my fellow members in their tasks. I strongly believe that as an active group member, it is my responsibility to help our colleagues and support them in every circumstance. That will help to achieve our targets more easily.

Question 1 Would you like to work alone or work with a partner?

Answer – I would like to work with a team. Because being a team member, you will always be focused and encouraged. Moreover, as a team member, others’ support and coordination were very important to achieve goals, and it is the chance to learn certain soft skills too.

Question 2 What type of people are good to use?

Answer – In my opinion, open-minded people and the mentality to accept reality are very good. Because there was no space for other clashes, however, somebody had the credibility to accept people with their own behaviour.

Question 3 Do you enjoy teamwork or group studying?

Answer – Certainly. I believe group study and group works were the platform for sharing ideas for others and ourselves. That will help to enhance your knowledge and another potential. Apart from this, it helps to increase our communication skills.

Question 4 What are the benefits of studying alone?

Answer – When you are studying alone, you will have a chance to concentrate more and have enough time to learn. That will help you to cover more and more portions without any stress.

Question 5 What can children learn through teamwork?

Answer – As a part of a team, it is the opportunity to learn numerous skills through teamwork. The first and foremost thing is coordination. Secondly, obedience. Then, it is the chance to learn skills like sharing, communicating, observing and so on. All of these skills help them in the future.

Question 6 What are the disadvantages of working in a group?

Answer – Compared with certain advantages, there are certain disadvantages too. Firstly, nobody did get personal space in a group. Secondly, individuals should be more active and open up. Otherwise, it will create more matters and delay achieving team goals.

Question 7 Is it great to have differences within a group?

Answer – Well, for me, it is not. There were certain occasions the group members had differences in their plans. But, as a group, the ultimate slogan will be equality in their decisions. At the end of the result, this will be the face of their achievements.

Question 8 What are the key skills and abilities necessary to be prosperous in a team?

Answer – There were numerous skills and abilities to enrich group activities and goals. Ideas, coordination, implementation, orientations, and valuations are convincing skills for a group member. Apart from these, individuals should be open-minded and ready to accept any challenges to be part of a team.
