Overall, it is clear that Fujitsu and Others were two companies witnessing the drop in market share, whereas other manufacturers had a facet pattern throughout the time period.
First of all, HP was dominant in producing portable computers with 31.4% in 2006 and maintained its first position by the figure’s increase of 2.85% by 2014 compared to other companies. The same pattern but to a greater extent took place in Dell with a mere increase of almost 10% from 16.6% to 26.12%, which made this company account for the second-highest proportion of the total market share.
