You have enrolled in an evening course, but you have found that you are too busy to continue and would like to take the course next term instead. Write a letter to your teacher. In your letter:
explain the situation and why you cannot continue the course
say what you would like to do about your studies?
Ask for advice about what you can do about the situation?
Dear Mr Smith,
I am writing this letter to inform you that it will not be possible for me to attend the evening computer science course because of my tight schedule. I hope you will be considerate about the unavoidable circumstances.
Let me tell you in more detail. First of all, I was really fascinated with the presentation of this course in the orientation program, and I registered without checking my timetable. Unfortunately, I came to know that schedule of my history class is clashing with it. Being a mandatory subject, I cannot skip lectures on the history subject and risk my term. However, I have thought to continue the computer science course in the next term when I have plenty amount of spare time as I have to focus only on two subjects. As I am going to attend it for sure, I do not want a refund for the registration fees.
Though I am pretty sure that you will understand my dilemma, I am open to any possible solution from your side. I am really keen to learn this amazing course which will add a feather to my academic career.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
