Sample Answer: You Live in A Room in College Which You Share with Another Student

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to mention some problems in my present room with my roommate. His disturbance and noises make it difficult to concentrate on my studies, which badly affects my sleeping hours and study plan.

My name is Pradeep Joseph. I was staying in room no. 1406 Block B. Before I was staying with my classmate, later my vacation, the room controller changed the pattern and assigned my two-year senior with me. I am very upset about his activity in the room. He always put music in high volume and behaved like a senior. He is cooperative and less adjustable. When I return from class, he sometimes uses my belongings to make me comfortable and does not return them in good condition.

I prefer a quiet room, preferably with my classmates, because my second-semester exam has been scheduled for next month. I have to concentrate more on study.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Yours faithfully,
