Natural Beauty Such as Lakes, Beaches, and Mountains Are Being Surrounded by Garbage (Rubbish) Left by People

Natural beauty such as lakes, beaches, and mountains are being surrounded by Garbage (rubbish) left by people. What are the causes for this? What solutions do you suggest?

Human left Garbage is now surrounding all of the beautiful places like mountains, lakes and beaches. The main reason for the pollution of those areas is the Garbage left by the tourists in those areas. In this essay, we are discussing the reasons behind the leftover Garbage and some potential solutions for that.

One of the reasons is that the people are nowadays more interested in domestic as well as international tours where they spent a minimum of 2-3 days. Due to which most of the hotels and restaurants businesses are growing in those areas to facilitate them, which is inducing more Garbage. For example, there are now more hotels and resorts opening day by day in the Mustang area as compared to 10 years ago. Moreover, this situation tends to increase the number of waste produced by those service sectors and by the tourist who is duped there carelessly increases the number of garbages. The water bottles and plastic wrappers for different products also increase the plastic waste. Tourists use water bottles and other junk foods and just throw them away in that area which is the main source of that leftover garbages. Another reason for tampering with the beauty of lakes and rivers is the connection of sewage canals of huge industries directly to the water resources. For instance, in our area, there was a distillery whose drainage was directly connected to the nearby river. Due to this reason, the whole water of that river gets polluted and adversely affects the beauty of that river because of the smell and colour of the water. Because of it, the whole rivers are getting polluted and along with that air and soils are also getting affected.

The solutions can be applied to minimize these problems of unusual dumping of Garbage in beautiful scenic places. Firstly, demotivating people to carry more stuff mainly made up of plastics and making a proper site for those waste materials. For example, small steel baskets can be stored beside the roads to store such plastic garbages. Ultimately this step helps to decrease the unwanted throwing of plastic waste on roads and ponds. Secondly, campaigns should be initiated by the locals as well as the government to promote the business of the areas like lakes, mountains and beaches. Awareness and proper information should be circulated in order to promote the beauty of those areas. For example, recently, the government had launched the program called ‘Swacha Bharat Aviyan, under which different campaigns were run for promoting wasteless places and also different food products are promoting these mottos by attaching those mottos to make a reminder for the users for proper dumping.

In Conclusion, the conservation of natural resources is our responsibility. so, in order to cut down the rate of leftover Garbage, we should initiate the work from ourselves and inform our community about the adverse effect of that waste on nature as well as our health.
