Overall, it is immediately noticeable that History books saw the highest sales, whereas books on hobbies had minor sales.
In 2002, around 4,000 copies of history books were sold compared with about 2,000 copies of Art and entertainment books, with the minor sales going for hobbies books at around half a thousand copies. Interestingly, the sales of hobbies books remained relatively unchanged throughout the period. In sharp contrast, the selling of history books dramatically increased to nearly 10,000 copies throughout the period.
Moreover, sales of Art books gradually rose throughout the whole period, recording around 2,500 copies in 2004 and 2006 and about 4,000 copies around 2010 and 2012. Again, the sales of entertainment books fluctuated during the period, and its sales reached slightly above 2,000 copies in 2006 and 2008. It then plummeted to slightly below 2,000 copies before recovering to around 2,500.
