The Increase in People’s Life Expectancy Means That They Have to Work Older

The increase in people’s life expectancy means that they have to work older to pay for their retirement. One alternative is that people start to work at a younger age. Is this alternative a positive or negative development?

Due to advance medical facilities, now people live longer. For their survival, they need to work till retirement in order to smooth the running of life. So out of many, one alternative is that people can start doing work at a young age. I think it will negatively impact their lives, and this articulation will elucidate my standpoint in the upcoming paragraphs.

First off, if masses start working at a younger age; then, they will remain discontented with their life because they will be in the race of collecting more money and due to money-minded thinking, they will not enjoy their life, and this thing will bring misery for them. For instance, it can be seen that oldsters in any family narrate their children their stories of hard work they did in the past to improve their children’s lives; but, in return, they had to sacrifice the precious time of their younger age.

Besides, they will not concentrate on their study and reduce their study hours in order to look for a job. Thus, their interest in study will be less. There is the possibility of living study unfinished. So they will not be able to get that position, which can maximize their chances of getting handsome income to lead old age smoothly. To exemplify it, nowadays, masses are employed in multinational companies that provide facilities like EPF and other benefits, which can be reaped in old age. So individuals with a good academic background can run their lives peacefully, and they can bear their own expenses in old age.

To conclude, so it is a huge loss if people start working at a young age. They will remain dissatisfied and lose their chances of getting a higher position with an attractive stipend due to incomplete education.
