In Some Countries, More and More Parents Have Begun to Teach Their Children

In some countries, more and more parents have begun to teach their children at home as compared to sending them to school. Do the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages?

It is true that education is essential for every student to get a proper degree and broaden their career horizons, and school is the first platform to get that. Some experts argue that it should be beneficial if children should learn from their parents only instead of going to school. However, I opine that there are more disadvantages to not sending them to the education centre, which I will explain in the following paragraphs with examples.

There are a few compelling reasons for this trend and why parents have started to teach them at home, and the prominent one is the financial help they provide. To put it in another way, nowadays, education fees are extremely high and are still growing more and more due to some reasons that every family might not be able to afford. Sometimes, if two or more kids are in a single family, it would be more difficult to send everyone to school. Hence, they prefer to get educated at home with the supervision of their parents. For instance, it will observed that poor parents might not send their kids to an official study centre or send only one kid due to financial crisis, most probably in the countryside.

On the other hand, there are numerous negative sides of this that we can not neglect in this contemporary era. The worst one is that schools are the centre of learning, teaching them about a discipline that moulded them as adults. Because tutors are the only ones who teach them the paramount importance of discipline and obeying laws at different stages of life. As a result, schools are responsible for educating them only from childhood. Additionally, it is not only a degree but also an opportunity to obtain expertise in other curriculum activities and to get admission overseas to post-graduation, authorised education centres.

To conclude, although parents can teach their offspring at home as it will help them financially, I strongly believe that all students should have the right to go to an authorised school to help them in their future careers.

Additionally, the government should impose some strict rules to follow this because learners are the bright future of the nation.
